Great gas station to find people who go to Nuremberg. I asked the cars and one of the first ten cars said yes, a young man who went to Berlin but dropped me in Nuremberg.
Fantastic spot! A huge gas station, so many cars to ask, and i got the next ride nearly to Nuremberg in just 15 minutes with a french guy who could not speak english.
Good spot for going west! Met the first other hitchhiker and we hitchhiked to a gas station near Linz together. It took one an a half hour to get a lift, but there was plenty of space for the cars to stop so it should eventually go quicker to find one.
Big gasstation! Not so many cars in the early afternoon, but with asking you will find somebody soon. I got a lift with polish tourists who drove back there and they took me all the way to Vienna.
Good spot! I needed to wait an hour to find a ride to Graz, but many cars are passing and they often go a further distance. You can decide if you want to talk with people at the gasstation or stand before with a sign. I got a lift with an campervan (elderly couple from the UK).
Slovenia is a great country to hitchhike! Just after the traffic light were the cars not moving too fast, and there was plenty of space to stop at the bus stop. Got a ride straight to Bled after 10 minutes with two slovenians. It was really nice!
Good spot! Its at the entry of the highway, but there is enough space to stop. Got a ride after 35 minutes with a man who works in Zagreb but lives in Slovenia. He took me straight to Ljubljana :)
Bad spot! Nearly all the cars are croatian and from Zagreb. One car stopped, but they went to maribor and not ljubljana. I changed location after three hours, and got a ride in 40 minutes there.
Pretty good spot. I wanted to go to Zagreb and got a lift by a man and a women who drove there. Many cars stop on the gas station and you can ask them.
Not so many cars, and the most are stacked with things from the shopping center. I got lucky soon and a local women took me to a gas station near the highway.
Good spot! Many cars going, a lot of space to stop at the busstop and also a opportunity to talk to people. Got a ride straight to Zadar with locals after 45 min. I think with a little bit more luck there could be shorter waiting time
Asked every person at the gas station if they go north. Mostly locals and the most of them went not far or to split. Not so many cars too. Got a ride 30 km north after two hours with a local.
