Hitchhiker

Probably a bad spot at the gas station on the highway, cars can't slow down and almost no traffic at the gas station. After 10 min a guy going to Kjustendil gave us a lift and drove us to the border to North Macedonia

A lot of traffic in all directions going through Prrenjas. A couple picked us up (drove a Taxi from Tirana, but without the sign) and took us to Tirana.

Not the best spot, waited about an hour, in the end we talked to an Albanian guy in front of the supermarket who took us to Prrenjas

Good spot as you catch the traffic of three directions. Made a sign with Pernik and Macedonia on it. Got a lift within 10 min towards Pernik

We were hitchhiking as a couple an made a sign in Cyrillic with Sofia. Most drivers that go from Plowdiw to Sofia take that road to get to the highway. Took us 15 min to get a ride. Cars slow down due to the roundabout and can stop in the bus lane afterwards
