Don't hitchike from here like I did XD I was here in the middle of the night, and that's the only reason to be hitchiking from here instead of closer to Thisted. It actually caused a slight traffic jam when the car stopped for me here because there is no spot to stop at. I also had a reflector vest on so I won't get hit by a car. I was driven directly to the middle of the forest at a shelter. We were joking about this being the scetchiest place I've ever hitchiked to, being in a tiny forest road in middle of the night. Great times.

Very few cars on this road. People get out of work from the local factory at around 4pm and go back home to Jurva so you might get a ride then. I got a ride from someone who knows me because I'm from this village. Your best chances are at 4pm and at morning when people from the village go to work.

This spot is hard to reach, but I think there's a legal place to stop here! It's a huge bus stop basically, but it's not an actual bus stop. It's called "Vändplats" It has the traffic sign that you aren't allowed to park there but you are allowed to stop there. Had a truck stop there for me and took me straight to Tornio! Look at this spot with street view.

(didn't get a ride) I should have stayed here instead of walking forward, it's the best hitchiking spot towards Gränna in like 4 kilometers. Recommend trying to hitchike to Skärholmen and so on until Gränna if you are going to Stockholm. Not that many cars here, it's a small road.

No one going to Stockholm from here either. Went to Kaxholmen to take the small road to Gränna. If you are here, you shouldn't try to go far, Gränna at most. Gränna junction has a great hitchiking spot to get further! I was here quite late so maybe it's better earlier.

Was standing on the grass where people turn to their houses, because the street was blocked by some construction as of 7th of june 2026. Tried to go to Suwałki/Poland, but changed sign to Marijampolė to get out of here. Not the best spot but definetly not bad and it's very doable. Might be better spot if you are here bit earlier than I was but the spots further down the road towards Poland are probably better.
