waited a little further in the village on the road on a Friday morning direction Aubenas, good traffic cars go slow, boulangerie right next to the road in case you have to wait longer.
Got a really long ride from here to Valence plus I had another offer till around Dijon so seems a good place to get further west and even south direction Lyon.
got picked up almost immediately direction Freiburg on a Monday morning early (7 am).
Easy to walk there from the tran station, always straight ahead towards east and you can already start hitching whlie walking.
waited and also walked around to ask people coming from the shopping malls but couldn't find anybody took the bus after about one hour. I think it is definitely better to get dropped off on the other side of the Highway on the B181when going into Leipzig.
Took the Bus Nr 8 that leaves for example at Boschstraat/Markt. Got off in Eijsden (Village south of M.) at Emmastraat/J S Bach Straat. Cost around 5€.
Under the bridge cars already go quite fast and it is already on the highway. Also at the roundabout cars didn't stop, think its a bit hard for them to see that they can. Walked into town a bit to a petrol station - most cars going to the A84 come from here anyways - where it was good.
