Good spot going nord or east. Used it several times, waiting 30-90 minutes. This time sunday morning 45 min. Always asked.

Sunday evening, normal amount of cars. Fast lift to Netherlands with asking. Been here several times, waiting 30-60 min.

Generally good place going east. This time on sunday afternoon with lot of full cars; so had to ask around longer than expected. You can walk from Sud to Nord under A30 via a tunnel. From Hannover center take u-bahn 4 to Garbsen & bus 126 to Am Blaue See. German cars with BI licenseplate will pass next gasstation Auetal. Dutch cars with yellow plates might go straight to the Netherlands.

On ramp with hard shoulder. Cars can stop safe here. Use it for direction west. Only traffic coming from direction Zutphen can enter this road. Not traffic coming from Deventer.

No good spot anymore; 2 lanes and no place to stop. Dangerous. It is better to use the on ramp on the other side for the same direction going west.

Short hard shoulder just after traffic lights. Long enough to stop safe. Cars coming from highway or Zutphen can see you. I used it with sign Deventer to get to center. Always worked well after 10-30 minutes

Good spot going east

Bus stop. Most cars going towards highway, not much traffic going east. Worked with sign Deventer after 1 hour

Hard shoulder next to on ramp. Cars see you last minute because of bended road. Worked anyway.

This is the official hitch hike spot (sign on pole). Space for cars to stop. Lots of traffic. Always good to get direction east. I used sign Amersfoort.

Lot of drivers towards Zeewolde. But found a ride to Almere.

Good spot towards Amsterdam. Harder to get towards Almere. Driver offered to drop me af in the right direction anyway.

Just on gas station further to get past Amersfoort and past A27

Asking around for next gas station on A1, got 3 stations further

Ok spot, hard shoulder is too far away from standing point before highway sign and entrance is 2 lanes. But cars stop anyway on road or in grass next to road. I always get away with sign 'Deventer' and hop off at servicestation A1 near Holten. Or sign 'Almelo' to travel on A35/N35. Waiting 30-60min.

Ok spot going to A1 entrances. Use thumb or sign 'Borne'. Stand at begin of hard shoulder between road and cycling path. Waiting average 15-45min

Always a good place towards Hengelo. Waiting time during evening (dark) most times 10-60 min.

Gas station is very outdated and no trafic. But at parking next to restaurant a lift with just one time asking.

Good visible spot, cars can stop next to the road. Entrance to highways towards Germany and France. Lots of local trafic & French and German cars. But no luck with sign Freiburg. Finaly got a lift to Weil border gasstation.

Illegal to stand on highway, but lots of space to stop next to the lane. Had a sign Bulle.

Hard to get away towards Simplon. Tried at 2 different gas stations. And asked truckers near Douane with no luck. Finaly walked to Brig station and bought trainticket to Italy

Local road to get to the next highway entrance. Cars can stop next to road. Much trafic, friendly local took me halfway. Walked rest to next entrance.

Very good spot with space to stop next to the lane, but got send away by police since it is just behind the highway sign. They pointed me towards the road before the roundabout; and there is no space to stop !? Walked to the local road to try again to Brig.

Tried to get to the south of Martigny, did not work. Changed direction to Sion and got away immediately. Should gave accepted Martigny itself and tryfrom the southside of the city...
