BEWARE!! There is a petrol station, slip road and a lot of traffic. However "služba drogowa" banned us from standing on the slip road, there are no shoulders of the road and the roundabout doesn‘t make it easier. On the petrol station are mostly locals, so they won‘t take you anywere either. No cars stopped to us, after three hours of asking around, changing spots, signs - we were so desperate to get to the highway that we even tried another direction - with no success, we set off to the nearest petrol station on the highway, which is eight kilometres by walk. We recommend trying to hitchhike a car along the way, we managed to do it.

BEWARE!!! Terrible place. Looks ideal, wide shoulders of the road, a lot of traffic, however we got stuck here for hour and a half. We tried a lot of different signs, Lodz, A1 and others, however no car took us the 10 km to the A1 highway. The road actually leads to Lodz, but no cars took us there either. After a long time a young lady with a dog took us to Lodz.
I warn you all, don‘t try out this place

Nice spot, there is a fast food and a petrol station. Cars which stop here almost certainly go to Poland, a lot of them as far as Warsaw. We asked around some people and a guy told us he‘s going to Warsaw.

Can't rate this place objectively, because as soon as we stepped out of the petrol station a car stopped, even though we weren't even ready. Our plan was to go to the slip road, however I don't think it's necessary. You can hitchhike near the petrol station there is a turnoff to factories, so cars can stop there.
The car was of a salesman from Nový Jičín, however he offered himself to take us beyond Ostrava, which was very generous of him.
As a sidequest I would recommand you the patrol station called Amigo, which is local. They have amazing ice cream and cheap schnitzels for lunch.

Great spot, by the bus station and graveyard. Due to the bus station the road is wider here and there is also a turnoff, which isn't that used, so it can be used for stopping as well. We caght like the second car, that was passing, which took us to Vyškov. This is the main road people use to get from Blansko to Vyškov, which is an advantage.

Teriffic spot. There is a wide shoulder of the road, where cars can stop. We spent some time asking drivers at the parking lot near the shopping center, however to no avail. However, this spot was much better, all the cars are going at least to Olomouc. We caught one, that took us to the further part of Olomouc almost immediately.

An alright spot, just at the slip road. There is a turnoff, where there is a closed gate, so cars can stop there. However a lot od cars are already going quite fast and you aren't visible from great distance, because of the crossroad - you'll have to find a compromise, where to stand. Quite a few cars passed, before a driver stopped, who took us to Prostějov. You can be sure, that all of the cars go at least to Prostějov.

Alright spot. If you stand pracisely on this position, you will be visible from the crossroad and still be quite close to the bus station where drivers can stop. There are cars coming from Blansko, Jedovnice and also Lipovec and all of them go to the direction of Vyškov. Most of them go there to work. We caught a car going to Ruprechtov.

Nice spot, just behind the old railroads. The cars slow down and can think more about picking you up. There is a lot of space on the side of the road, also a bus stop 50 metres behind you, so you can maybe try it as well. A lot of traffic, going to near villanges, such as Jedovnice and Lipovec, but also cars going to as far as Vyškov. It‘s also common for people from Blansko to go to the D1 highway this way. We caught a car going to Lipovec, however we decided to get dropped off in Kotvrdovice.

Looks like a good spot, because you are visible from great distace and there is a place for drivers to spot, however half of teh cars are going to Lipovec, so if you go in the direction to Vyškov, this isnť a good place. After 20 minutes we haven‘t stopped any car, so we decided to move to Senetářov.
