Very good spot to go ouest (ausbourg, Ulm…) with luck we had a direct ride to Strasbourg, in France

Perfect spot to go to Germany, we got a ride directly to Munich

Have to put a very near city to go out of there, we change the sign to put seefeld (north/germany) only waited 10min after

Got a ride to Luzern

Very bad if you want to go to Luzern, not a lot of cars and most of them are heading Berne. Un 1h of walk from here you can reach another bigger gas station

Find a car to go south, not easy to reach this spot and not the best

Not a good spot to get closer to Italy, people are nice and waving but most of them are locals

Got a car heading the frontiere with Italy because they stopped on the parking of burger king, not a lot of space to park otherway

Good spot to go south, big station. Get a little empty after lunch time.

Very few people stop here. It’s a very little station and just before the frontiere. We got lucky with someone tooking us to Milano.

Good spot to go Venezia

Spot with a lot of traffic, not a lot of space for them to pull over but. Most of them are heading Brescia or Verona

Easy to get a ride for Milano or Verona

People on the rondabout go very quickly, when there is traffic they can’t stop. At the end, someone from the gas station took us to one of the first gas station on the autostrada (heading Milano).

Lot of locals but nice people, a lot pulled over and try to get us on the way. It was late so we decided to only accept the ones going to Austria. We had A LOT A LOT of luck and a guy took us directly to Innsbruck even if he was not heading this way at all.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. As soon as we got out of a car the A22 Police pulled over and took our ID; saying hitchicking was not allowed even on the gas station. They stayed for one hour and a half on station to make sure that we didn’t try again. We had to take a taxi to the next city (very expensive) and start again from there. Be careful if you take this autostrada! We think that you might get a ride to the North/Austria but there is not a lot of traffic because it’s a little station.

Very very good spot if you are heading to Milano, Brescia or Verona; you can have a ride in 20’ max. A lot of traffic thanks to the Autogrill. However, very bad spot to reach the north of Italy/A22/Trento (our case). If you are heading this way we recommend to go to Verona and to take another ride from there.
