There are still road constructions and place is a little bit dangerous. I couldn't stay in this exact spot from the map due to some concrete barriers and I was maybe 50m closer to roundabout on the ramp. It was madness. Due to low level of water my ferry stopped at this steep gravel road. Buses and cars had quite difficult experience with going up to the road. People from the ferry climbed to road by foot and waited for their buses which were stuck at the river. Since I hadn't got organised transport with ferry guys, obviously I hoped for some opportunity to hitchhike. While everyone was waiting, suddenly one local car showed up from nearby village. Likely you will be asked for money by some drivers or tourists mini buses, but it's also possible to hitchhike to Koman. I was taken by camping owner from Koman - Marco, great man. He asked me for coffee and raki in nice place on the way. Since most people here are living off tourism, of course I stayed in a tent at Marco's camping and he charged me for that... 2 euro. I paid normal price in his restaurant at least. So I advise to reject paid transport offers, but if you are taken by someone, it will be good to use their tourist business if they have one.

Road to Mojkovac is closed, and there was also a lot of road construction works near the bridge on both sides so I ended at this place. That's very good spot to Trebinje. About 3-5pm there is a lot of people going back from work in Dubrovnik. This spot is also used by locals, there was like 4 guys hitchhiking, so I went down to Kaufland for some shopping, when I came back there were gone and I get a ride in about 10min. To get there I walked from Dubrovnik old town, there is an old road between the sea and main road. Quite long uphill walk, but views are amazing and spot for hitchhiking is worth it also.

It's not great, but it was the best place for me to stop from other ride. Also I took a break and visited a beach just below this parking and it was quite nice. To get more cars I was standing on the exit ramp from main road to parking, it is illegal in this road, but whatever, it worked. Cars are going really fast downhill, but it's manageable. I think in summer season the best way would be to just ask people who stopped on a break, it looks like quite popular viewpoint.

I was there late in the evening, not much traffic and idea was to spend a night there if nobody stops. Surprisingly this was one of the best hitchhiking experience, two local girls approached me interested wtf I am doing and invited me to their place for dinner and sleepover. The next morning it was quite easy to find a ride.

After 1h of waiting police told me to get away from this spot. They didn't care that all roads around are big intersections and there is no place to walk at all, so this spot is safer than any other around. They care about highway not safety, so they wouldn't let me stand on the highway entrance.

I was at this station in the evening and traffic was low so I tried but also I was already planning to stay in a tent somewhere behind the parking and start again in the morning. After 30min police showed up and asked me to leave the station outside this big fence. Probably the owner really don't like hitchhikers and called a police. I found some quiet nice spot outside the highway, but I was spotted in the morning and some "forest police" came, but the guy was really nice and okay with me when I explained him my story. Then I walked to SS16, because if you will be spotted twice on the same autogrill station you probably will get a fine for trespassing, just sad italian highway experience.
