Great spot, plenty of space, you can get the bus straight there as well. Femme wheelchair user and a guy, got a ride in 25 minutes in an Audi to Dresden, they even took us on a tour of Dresden before dropping off at a good services to hitch on from.

Solo Femme wheelchair user. Good spot for cars to pull off into the lorry bit. Got an offer from a lorry driver in under 5 minutes, but he was only going as far as Blackpool. After like 6 more minutes I got a lift from a driver going up to Glasgow, I only took it as far as Abington because I'm heading Edinburgh way. Great spot, good visability as cars see you as they pull into to the car park and then again when they pull out. Had a sign saying 'North'

Solo Femme wheelchair user. Decent spot for hitching out of Southport towards Liverpool, can get multiple busses to woodvale area, then it's a short walk. There are traffic lights which slow down about 50% of traffic, some people turn down to avoid the traffic lights, but it's rare, there is plenty of space and the turn after the lights allows drivers to think about it and pull in if they want (that's what happend for me).

Stood at the entrance to the petrol station as all cars have to go past to exit the services. Got two stops in under 5 minutes, our ride took us all the way to Liverpool. One wheelchair user and a man.

waited for over three hours, trying to go to Paris. Had 8 stops, 6 were local traffic and 2 were going long distance going north to Calais. eventually bailed and took a train to Paris. One wheelchair user and a man.

Met other hitchhiker's!!! it was late on a Sunday and traffic was slow. The other hitchhiker's were wearing traditional German clothing for Wanderschaft and our driver stopped to chat while we were chatting to offer them a ride, they already had one and he then offered a ride to us. Slow station on a Monday morning, Thumbed for a bit and then asked someone and the first person we asked was going into France so we took the ride. One woman in a wheelchair and one man. The cleaning staff were very rude but the gas station staff were great.

Hitched from the bus stop before the petrol station, as the petrol station was dead. Great spot, you can get a bus there, long visability and slow traffic, got loads of interaction from people going past, though most were staying in the area. After 15 minutes the Punk Band that took us to Chemnitz drove past and offered us a second lift up to their next gig in Leipzig, we took it and had a great night listening to them and other bands play in an end of summer hippie festival. Was awesome and even a safe place to camp.

Waited a long time, both thumbing and asking people. Not much interaction with thumbing, and the people we talked to were rude. Femme wheelchair user and a guy, Eventually we thumbed a lift with a punk band going to a festival in Chemnitz. Had a great time with them and at the festival.

Small petrol station, had 3 people stop, including a lorry and Van that were both doing short distances, and watched said lorry take out said vans wing mirror. Got a lift that took us to Cottbus, femme Wheelchair user and a man. All three stopped because of the thumb, but we were asking people at the petrol station with no luck.

Femme Wheelchair user and a man. Had to Uber to this spot, as the hole in the fence isn't big enough for the wheelchair. Loads of Hitchhiking graffiti which was cool to see. Did get stung by a Hornet here, so watch out for that. Got a ride westwards towards Legnica.
