In the afternoons you can easily catch a ride from Switzerland to the villages on the French side with cross border commuters, but the other direction is difficult. And the other way around in the mornings.

Asked 2 tourists cars and got a ride. Not too many cars on a Sunday.

With a sign to Faro I was picked up and ended up in Huelva where I wanted to go. Picked up by tourists.

A lot of tourists passing by so also some who are familiar with hh. I used the spot to get right to the highway.

If you walk along the road cars will not too often (on Sunday) but there is a high chance of getting a lift.
