You may have to wait a bit but you should get a ride some distance if you are patient. Lots of space to pull over into the petrol station. I had a sign for Barcelona (although it was pretty bad) but got a ride to Igualada. I got a ride with a local Catalan man working for meterology who was super curious and interesting to talk with. A bit closer towards France there is another spot to hitchhike from but there was a weird person there doing some type of strange hitchhiking while playing weird music so I decided to walk here and after a few minutes I got picked up by a local Andorran who took me to the capital. Super cool car and he drove kinda crazy but I won't forget him. Good space here to pull over but probably only better with lower traffic.―Arcturus

It was raining very heavily when I got here so I had to wait a bit but once it subsided, I got a ride in a few minutes into Andorra with a quiet French dude. Plenty of space to pull over but a lot of people are doing U turns in that space too so be careful.―Arcturus

This is a surprisingly nice spot for something before the border. An open road with ample space to pull into the roadside car park. Lots of French traffic too since a lot of people go to El Pas De La Casa to for cigarettes and alcohol, then turn round and go home.The bus here from Andorra la Vella is deceptively long, and surprisingly more expensive than the other routes; so in my case, getting here from La Massana was a proper headache. Andorra's public transport really is nothing to write home about!
After a short walk and a talk with a very confused supermarket security guard, I was picked up by a mother and daughter from Ukraine, who took me to L'Hospitalet. Sadly, I never got their names…

March2011fm Andorra to France, I caught the line 4 bus to Pas del la Casa, ask the driver to drop you off at this round about. Little place to pull up but it was 30cm of snow and cars were driving slow, picked up by about the 15th car, 15minutes. Taken to Foix.
