Si te encontrás acá, mejor andá hacia Plottier o Allen en colectivo. Es imposible que te lleven a ningún lado acá.

Worst place ever. Too near the cities.

Tons of cars, oilfield company pick-ups and trucks passing through this spot towards Neuquén. Extremely easy place to get a ride.

Easy ride place. Better than wait for buses. The rides drop me in the center of Neuquen twice.

Great spot, but hard to reach! The spot itself is super efficient to hitch hike north on road 151 (to Mendoza, and before to San Rafael). If you stay on road 51 it is really easy to go far, huge traffic and lot of trucks and lot of space for car to stops :)
To reach it : in 2023 take the colectivos línea 2 from Centro of Neuquén, and take one that goes to Centenario (not all buses of línea 2 are going there). Ask the driver to leave you at a stop where you can take another bus that will take you to Vista Alegre Norte. Then it is one of the last stops, and 20mns of walk. Count 1h30 at least.

Extremely easy spot to hitchhike towards Zapala, especially in high-season due to a lot of tourists are going to the Cordillera side.
Also, a lot of workers go and come from Neuquén to Zapala.
