Good spot. Good visibility, slow traffic, lots of local work vehicles as well as tourist cars. Easy pull-off area.―Anonymous

Good spot to get to Hobart. The road widens enough for someone to pull over. Also hitched to the airport from here. Didn't take very long at all.―Anonymous

Easy easy! All drivers go to Perth which is a very good spot for Hobart (or Launie). Though a bit desolated, this bit of road has all you need: space for drivers to pull over, traffic and not too much speed.―Anonymous

Pretty sure every hitch-hiker travelling between Launie and Hobart ended up there at some point. Space for cars to pull over, petrol stations with a lot of clients: it's been a really good spot for me, both ways.―Anonymous

To go to Hobart?BAD spot. In my experience, leaving Launceston is not really an easy task. There is to much traffic and/or no space for drivers to pull over until... the highway. Well, this is not a very good option, try something else and don't lose hope: made it to Hobart in very decent time every time I tried.
