Cross the border on foot and walk for a few minutes to avoid the area where taxis wait. Here is a nice road going towards Baku. If you are lucky, you may find a direct ride. Try to explain beforehand that you are hitchhiking and not going to pay for the ride.―Anonymous

Don't go there, because it's border only for trucks. Police officers will send you to another border (10 km, Astara). I tried get in Iran from Azerbaijan.I was lucky here, local truck driver give me a ride 5 kilometres
