Good for rides in all directions. To itacare it's 6 km from there, to the bridge over Rio das Contas - 4, so might be better to hitch while walking.―Anonymous

In the direction of Salvador, there's a covered bus stop but traffic is very low. There are more cars going the opposite direction to Itacare.This spot is better for rides the opposite way, to Itacare.―Anonymous

Didn't hitch here but locals said it was a good spot to get to Camamu, where it's easier/faster to get a boat to Barra Grande. or just hitch north towards Salvador, or south to Ilheus/Itacare―Anonymous
