Um bom local para conseguir caronas em direção à Minas Gerais (Itamonte, Pouso Alto..)Consegui em 20 minutos uma carona com os militares que saiam de Itatiaia no sábado de manhã e iam para Três Corações. Meu destino final era São Tomé das Letras.

To hitchhike towards Bocaina de Minas and such, this looks like a good spot. There's a bus stop here and because of this roundabout cars are passing very slowly. I was picked up by the first car passing by directly to Bocaina de Minas when I lifted my thumb here.―Anonymous

Hitchhiking is very common in Visconde de Maua region. This here is a good spot if you're heading towards Presidente Dutra highway or the surroundings of the city of Resende. There's a speed bump at this spot where people usually hitchhike.―Anonymous
