Right in front of a gas station, you can buy something to drink or borrow their bathroom. Good Spot to get Barra Grande, Praia dos Algodoes or Saquaira.―Anonymous

I stood under a tree right in front of a small convinience store. There was free wifi somehow and the hospitable people from the store offered me food, access to their bathroom and tried to help me get a ride. Excelent to get to Barra Grande.―Anonymous

Didn't hitch here but locals said it was a good spot to get to Camamu, where it's easier/faster to get a boat to Barra Grande. or just hitch north towards Salvador, or south to Ilheus/Itacare―Anonymous
