this is one very good spot to hitchhike. there's a speed bump where cars slow down. it's very common to get rides here to, LEOPOLDINA and JUIZ DE FORA. If you want to go to Rio, here's the place to be too. Th get there's another place that is better, but you'll need a ride to reach there. Here, you can come walking, or take a bus, ask for a bus that pass in front of MITSUBISH VEMASA, and than walk till here.―Anonymous

Not a big city to walk through, you quickly reach the exit. There's a small gas station on the left side of the road (facing south) which didn't seem very helpful. We got a direct ride to Rio in around 20 minutes.―Anonymous
