Got a lift fairly shortly in a truck that was going to fortaleza. We were going to tutoia for the night, but for some reason he did say he wouldn’t have taken us all the way anyway―Anonymous

Two guys from tutoia picked us up and drove us to the beach. We explained what we’re doing, looking for dinner and then someone to stick our tent/hammocks. They showed us all their recommendations for cheap meals and then took us to a beach bar he knew and he came in with us to ask if we could stick our hammocks in the bar for the night. Everyone was super kind, were met with hospitality from everyyyyone in tutoia, getting offered free showers and then coffee and tapioca… too much!! Loved it here―Anonymous

Waited at a few different spots along this bit of road and no luck. Everyone seems to be staying in the city and v few people stop. Better off walking to the junction further up the road―Anonymous
