Going to Sao Paulo, you can stand in the road where the Don Pedro II crossis a urban avenue. Many cars take the avenue, so in that point you meet directly with cars and trucks going to Sao Paulo. I got there by car, so don't know exactly how to do it by public transportation. It's further than the shopping.―Anonymous

A good spot to go north direction Brasilia. From Sao Paulo take the purple line metro from Estacao da Luz until the very end. There's a moment somewhere during the trip when you have to change the train, the one continuing all the way to Jundiai is on the same platform, on the track just next to the one with the train you came with. From the final station, walk along Avenida Marginal which continues into Av. Prefeito Luis Latorre. You'll see the signs for the highway. Took us around 10 minutes to get a ride to Campinas just before the sunset.―Anonymous
