Highway on-ramp, west towards Lac-Saint-Jean, east towards Chicoutimi. Waiting can be short or very long, it's a cast of dice. Listing as good anyways because it's the only suitable hitch location in Jonquière.―Anonymous

A-70 West towards Jonquière, Lac-Saint-Jean. As much traffic as the area can provide, right after a stoplight. Lots of room for cars to park. You might hit local traffic, make sure you know where you go. If you want to go to the Lac-Saint-Jean area, avoid anybody whom drives less further than Saint-Bruno.―Anonymous

Best place to get to Quebec city. I would even suggest to ge a bit further, where you have this big green sign announcing your entrance into the park. If it's not the first, then the second car will stop to take you to Quebec city right away!―Gablebleu
