South towards Santiago, Valparaiso. Emergency lane after a junction with traffic lights. The spot is in a walking distance from the centre of the city just near the bus station. There is also a Copec petrol station a few hundred metres from the spot.―Anonymous

It's a spot described on hitchwiki. There is a place for cars to stop. Cars don't go super fast yet. Lot of cars turn left couple of km further to the beach. Though all traffic North goes through here. Road works still here.Very good spot.
