Police asked us what we were doing, but didn't mind. Were told to do it in the parking lot, not the Zoll.

Got a lift to Romanshorn on a Saturday afternoon after ca. 15 minutes with a Bregenz sign. Our driver first tried to stop at the bus stop where we were standing and then had to drive on to the gas station just ahead because of a bus behind her.

Hitched with a sign at the bus stop. Since there was a bus behind our driver’s car, she drove to the gas station just ahead and waited for us there.

We tried to get a lift farther West talking to people, no matter if on the Northern or Southern side of the Bodensee. After 40 mins, we accepted a lift to Kreuzlingen to hitch from a better spot.

We tried to hitchhike to Zurich from here but I guess being 3 guys means it's significantly more difficult to get a ride.

good for Singen, Freiburg, Stuttgart and everything north.

good place, because there are many cars and it's easy for them to stop.
only bad thing is how to get here ;)

If you want to go far north, be sure to have a sign with "S" for Stuttgart on it.

last time i waited 2 minutes *lucky*

I didn´t to waste my time going around the lake so I took a ferry to Meersburg (direction Munich), it was only 2.9 EUR and it was a great view from a boat :)

After 15 min of waiting I got picked up on my trip to BERN.
Police cars drove by and didnt care.

The spot is quite save and there´s space to pull over.
