Out of season at Tuesday afternoon, there is extremely low traffic. 2 cars in hour. So i walked like 10km before two old greec guys took me to Florina. Don't recommend this path, beter to choose south.―Trio525

I guess ok spot in Kozani/Edessa directions. Right after the train path, so cars have to stop right in front of you. There's not much place for cars to stop, but if driver wants to pick you up, they can do it. Got a ride a little bit further to a better place quite quickly―Anonymous

I don't like hitchhiking on the highway, but there's literally no other way I could find out of Florina deeper into Greece. Got a ride pretty quickly. There's a place to stop for brave drivers, traffic doesn't go very fast and drivers see you from far away―Anonymous

I got stuck here and walked from here to Florina. But one guy stopped and would have take me while I was still confused weather i should take the road to Niki directly... so i don't really know. My fail was probably my fault but not only―Anonymous

All people who are crossing border has to stop for a while so it's good possibility to ask about lift. I had no problem with car to Bitola, maybe 5 minutes of waiting - there is only one main road.―Anonymous
