Walk until here from the centre of town, the road is really going up so it would have been very hard to continue until the highway. Lots of traffic and good place to stop but we waited a long time here until a guy was clever enough to give us a lift up the hill to stay at the access to the highway―Anonymous

Stand behind the toll post on the side where the trucks go through. Also check if anyone at the rest stop goes to your desired location. The highway is easy to cross, so this stop works in direction Istanbul and Athens.―Agentum
