The main road to go to the south, nice spot with place to stop and cars not to fast. But not a lot of cars to stop, we waited a lot here the day before..We were lucky to find Germans !

I was hitch-hiking from here on the 26.02.2013 (tuesday) south to Koroni, waiting at the closed fuel station for a ride...after 45mins a car stopped at around 14:15 with a guy who was going all the way to Koroni as he he has some camping spot there...he is going everyday to Kalamata (in the morning and back to Koroni in the afternoon) as he is working in Kalamata for Coca Cola.―Anonymous

Not too bad, most people here are only locals and not going far, or just ignore, but 1 local couple picked me up and took me to Kalamata after only 45 mins. Open side of road for cars to pull over after the turn just down from petrol station―Skeeminneems
