I was just walking and showing my sign and a truck, that was going north, pick me up. May be harder to hitchhike cars because there is a lot of local traffic―Anonymous

Big petrol station on the road to Bandul. Has a few restaurants which makes it a perfect place for a break.―Anonymous

Very few cars, maybe 1 every 5 minutes. But indonesians are very kind, so eventually someone stopped―JulianayJulianColombianCouple

Direction Bali. Small town, lots and lots of private vehicles. Not much place to stop, but we spoke to a car that was pulling out and through googletranslate got to Dlingo―JulianayJulianColombianCouple

We walked a bit through the town looking for a good spot and some shade, as we walked we tried to flag down cars direction Bali, and were lucky to get a ride to Semanu. This road is mostly private cars, not many trucks (which is good, because the trucks are too slow)
