Not a very good gas station, but I was nearby so it was my best shot. But if possible I don’t recommend ending up here lol. Most of the people not heading far, or are cautious to take someone.
I was lucky to get a ride with a family-ran equestrian business owner and they took me to Gorey and then I couchsurfed with them.

space to pull over, good visibility, not too busy road on Saturday mid-day, mostly local drivers who wouldn't pick up hitch hikers going long distance, started with a sign and got a lift when we only thumbed

To get to Glendalough, this isn't too bad a spot, but it can take up to an hour to get a lift/ride.

Average spot, it's an exit onto the N11 for Arklow and Wexford.

To get to Blessington or Baltinglass, Naas, etc, hitch-hike from here through Laragh to Hollywood (R756), also known as Wicklow Gap.

You could try to go through R759 to Blessington (Sally Gap), not such a safe road though!

Not a bad spot for getting into Bray, or into areas of Dublin. A few feet away from the bus stop, close to the road.

The driveway of some house, visibility is average, likelihood of being picked up quite low. This road is fairly unsafe, cars break the speed limit and large trucks go by.

Stand just a few feet away from the bus stop, close to the road. You can get to Greystones, Bray, and hitch-hike from there.

the green just in front of the cafe is a good spot for hitching towards Dublin, one lift often gets you as far as Kilmacanogue where public transport can be got...

Perks include shade trees, slower speeds, long space to stop, and good visibility.
