signed for dublin and got lucky with a lift quickly. seems like a good spot at first because drivers can see you from across the crossroads but cars are driving too fast here from the dual carriage way to slow safely, and cars turning from the perpendicular roads are mostly locals. try after the roundabout on the motorway or at the traffic lights before the clinic to the south.―Leslie

You can get to Maynooth by train. From there you have to walk around 2 km (? as far as I can remember) to get to the motorway. Took us about 45 minutes to get a lift.―Anonymous
