I was going to the Negev. Looks like a good spot, but I did not get a ride after over 1 hour waiting (unusual in Israel). I started walking down the road - after 10-15 minutes walk, you are outside of town on the desert road, and anywhere there is a good spot.http://hitchwiki.org/en/Be'er_Sheva

Spot near the Nova Festival Memorial Site. Cars are rather fast and not that much space for cars to stop but a car stopped after 2min with a ride to Tel Aviv. Alternatively walk 1km back to Re'im for proper spots with bus stops.―roadlifehacks
