We got picked up within 5 minutes, but we were lucky - it's a tiny area. There are no real alternatives though, if you're heading for Tokyo.―Matsumoto Joe

So admittedly, someone picked me up after about 20 minutes. It wasn't going where I wanted, but as I was giving up anyway I accepted. It's one of those depressingly tiny parking areas that have no traffic. It might look like a tempting way out of Nagano, but I really wouldn't recommend it.―Aik
