Tre komforte.―Jurobola

Good spot but not a large amount of people actually stopped here. Though, great as if someone does, they,re definitely going east. This is no good for going west.To get into here by foot, you'll have to jump the fence, or if you're lucky like me, the backdoor was open :)

Service area from where you can hitch a ride to Tokyo quite easily. You can go in and out freely - if you walk down into the valley, there is a bus terminal right underneath the highway. From here busses run to Shizuoka station. If you want to get here from Shizuoka station, then take bus #1391 to Yatsu terminal (谷津ターミナル).―Anonymous

Couldn't find a ride to the highway, I waited at that Lawson for 6 hours but most cars would go to the bypass and not the EA1 Shin Tomei highway. So I would recommend using the bus from Shizuoka station to the Service Area as recommended on that pin about 20km west.―Broula

All the cars going to the big gas station nearby pass on that road to go back to the highway. There's space to stop but cars tend to go fast. Got picked up by two young surfers going to Fujieda. (Girl alone, with a sign to Shizuoka)―Abibi

There's a lawson just at the entrance of the highway. Many people going both ways stop there. Had a guy pick me up after buying a few things. (A sign is required)―Abibi

Great service area to get dropped off with lots of traffic. We spend the night there because it got late and there were multiple warm areas that are open 24 hours were we could sleep. Showers and laundry are also available. The next morning we immediately got picked up when somebody saw our sign :)―Anonymous
