Got a direct ride to Daegu after around 30minutes of waiting. It was already dark but still managed to get the ride. Cars would stop and tell us, that it's dangerous, that there is no way we can get a ride to Daegu (too far), but you should not be discouraged.―Pawel

There is a lamp so drivers can see you pretty well even during evenings. Enough room to stop even for a proper lorry. Take some food with you because there is no grocery shop on the way.―Anonymous

There is plenty of room to hitchhike next to the tollgates (Suwon). It's quite easy to get there from Kyung Hee University campus (I walked)―Anonymous

Get off at Yangjae Ciziten's Forest Station and walk to the intersection. You can actually get on the highway (be careful) and if you walk for about 200 meters, there is a service station. Wait at the end of the service station where cars slowly drive to the highway. I don't think you will wait more than 10 minutes. It's a good spot for heading south to Daejeon, Daegu or Busan. You can use a sign if you are willing to wait a bit longer to get a direct ride.―Anonymous

I'm a 25-year-old Caucasian man. I waited there for an hour, and then the police arrived. They took me to the police station and put me on a bus to Seoul, my final destination. I believe the location is good; I was just unlucky. The cars were driving fast, so you should have a large sign indicating Daejeon or Seoul in Hangul.―UnSimpleVagabond

Hodně málo místa na zastavení ale je tam chodník, kde si lze udělat základnu, super místo pro ty co chtějí na jih.―David
