A bump where cars stop, here they might take you either to León, or Guanajuato. It is also very common to find students hitchhiking here, therfore it's very safe.―Anonymous

When going from León south, there is not much option, but under the "Milenium" Bridge, a tall metal structure made for pedestrians to cross the highway. Here, many buslines going to Guanajuato and Silao stop, and you might get a ride even though the trafic is so fast. There is also a place where small trucks stop to eat, so you can also ask for a ride in person.―Anonymous

There's a bump (tope) right here, and cars have space to stop right after. Perfect if you are heading towards San Miguel de Allende.―Anonymous
