There's some buses/colectivos that go to the area around the puente, walk about 200m down the round and there's a hard shoulder where cars can pull over. Waited about 10 mins for a ride to campeche, but plenty of traffic going further afield too―Anonymous

There's a gas station here you can get close-ish to by bus. Hitching highway traffic too is recommended.―Zenit
