There is some space for stopping a car and speeds are low. Not the biggest traffic but also not too bad. They are like 3 spots good for hitchhiking little bit before that including one marked on map but they were all occupied by local hitchhikers so I went here―Autostopeks

Got ride to Bendery city center almost instantly. Litteraly third car stopped but I think I was just lucky aldo spot looks really nice. You can sleep in a forest nearby but be aware of dogs. One came to me in the morning and started barking at my tent but as I was inside I just waited till he got bored and only when I didn't heard any dogs outside (and you will hear their movement even if they are quiet because of a lot of trashes and sticks in that forest) I only came out of my tent. It was my third night here and first time I had such situation but be aware of possibility and maybe set up tent further away from path (I put it quite close because of my lazynes). Also they don't let people without plane ticket to the airport which is sad because one year ago you could go there freely to use free toilet and charge your phone but check that as it may change in future―Autostopeks

One male 40+, no sign, one big backpack, a sunny day. On my way from Tyraspol to Dubasari.It was an extra lane, which was an exit from the petrol station. I was standing towards the end of it. No shade. Very good visibility.
After 8 minutes I was in a car, on my way to Dubasari.

The guy who stopped was a taxi driver (without taxi signs), going back after dropping a customer off.
Whe was very friendly. He drove me around Tyraspol, showing me some spots. We stopped for tea (he insisted to pay). And at the end he dropped me at my address.
He was a bit too friendly. I've got some ideas why. But since he didn't do any move I'll keep them for myself.

A perfect spot. A big bay for cars and lorries to pull over. Good visibility. Cars go slowly due to the roundabout. Not very busy traffic. No shade.
In 5 minutes I got a ride to Bandery. The guy was kind and he did an extra mile and dropped me at the end of the city.
Border crossing was very smooth. Border gards were joking. I asked for a week "visa" and I got without any questions, not even about accommodation bookings.

One male 40+, no sign, one big backpack, a sunny day. On my way from Chisinau to Tyraspol (successful).I got dropped off at the airport and I made unnecessary long walk all the way to here. No need to do that. Just after the airport are much better spots.
This spot is some sort of extra lane between the ramp joining the road and the entry to the petrol station.
Surprisingly busy traffic. Many marshrutkas. No shade. Good visibility.
I didn't like that spot. But despite of it I quickly, after 10 minutes, got a ride to Anenii Noi (21 kms), where I got a ride to Bandery within minutes.

I was hitchhiking from this spot with my friend, we were heading north towards the city Crasnoe (Красное). It's the only road heading this direction and the traffic is quite heavy. No problem with getting a ride. We waited for about 2 minutes for the car to stop. There is also a bigger city Cioburciu on the way and many people go there, but it's the only road anyways so you can get there and continue the journey from there.―Anonymous

Hitchhiked right after the Moldovan side of the border crossing which the guards didn’t have any issue with. I had a sign saying Comrat, eventually I was taken to Căușeni. I recommend using a sign saying Căușeni or just thumbing, as cars don’t really stop unless going all the way to your destination.―Arphile
