Many locals use this spot. A lot of traffic and basically a sure thing, but it took a while for someone to pass by who picked up that foreigner. Maybe you want to check out the other highway ramps of the city.―Anonymous

There are some hitchhikers normally waiting behind the border and. Most of them are organising with the truckers somehow. It's definitely not easy there but you are visible to everyone and with some luck you'll catch some tourists who are going far. (French campers rarely take strangers haha)―Benni
