I was just near the entrance to the roundabout. One of my first hitches. Definitely my favourite. Found a lift to Imsouane and a great friend―Breno

Almost to Essaouira. Pretty hard to hitch a car here cause the road is narrow. Nice truck drivers shared food with me. But maybe this is better to get out of the busy Tagazout.―Anonymous

Grat spot. Local surfer picked us. His english was perfect. But watch out for turist scams through all the coast.―simonkaspar

There is lot of people that are geting taxi. Ewen when we used thumb (in morroco thumb means hitch-hiking and the index finger means taxi) the guy we stoped wanted 10 dirhams.―simonkaspar

Not perfect, because not a lot of cars going south, but it worked at the end.―Hannolo

Use the highway, not the national road. We were picked up by guy from Agadir and we were smoking hash with him all the way. In agadir we were so baked that we spend the day at the beach.―simonkaspar

I have hitchhiked from here 3 times and have never waited longer than 5 minutes(even with multiple people).Hitchhiking is so engrained in the culture here that it's almost weird to even contemplate taking a bus somewhere. My only advice is always announce that you don't want to pay before getting in as sometimes they will try and pretend they are a taxi service 💅
