We were just trying to hitch a ride to Casablanca Center, but after 2 minutes a truckdriver stopped and took us to Tanger (our final destination).A lot of traffic, but not the best spot, because the cars are going pretty fast already

I was wary of the speed of traffic further up the road. Not a many cars here but they’re still heading Tangier way. A kid came by and wagged his finger to help me hail a car, it worked. Thanks mate―Breno

Good spot to go to Tanger. Unfortunately I had to pay for ride but that's mostly because I was to tired to fight for free ride after spending night under a bridge and before that escaping guy who wanted to have a gay sex with me but if you have energy to try to get a free ride this spot is definitely good (Aldo I've marked that I used thumb I actually used Arabic form of it which is pointing at the road with my forefinger)―Anonymous

dec 2010, that a long walk from the center about 1h30 from the bus station. You can find roundabout before, but I slep in the building near by. You can find a bus to go there as well, but a bus ticket to Tetouan is 13.5 Dhs so ... worth it ?―Anonymous

A toll booth that takes you to the highway A4. There is not too much traffic but if you just keep walking towards the highway on-ramp someone stops for sure because there are no local \\"hitchhikers\\" and a foreigner here sticks out like a sore thumb.―Anonymous

After a big flyover bridge there is a bus stop where you can hitch to highway A4 (also local \\"hitchhikers\\" here).―Anonymous

We hitched from here with a friend to join the motorway. It worked in less than 15 min for us ! you should try, and don't forget that european standard in terms of hitchhiking spots are not the same in Morrocco. You can hitch from everywhere !―Anonymous

There's no need to take a taxi. Take the Bus n°9 from the Gare Routiere. Get off the Bus before he goes to the Airport and get your thumb out on the N1―Anonymous

You can ask cars as they buy tickets to board. The ferry director actually got us on for free after we waited for a few hours.―Anonymous
