We wanted to go to Foz do Iguaçu so it may have been better to hitch at the exit of Guarapuava instead of the entrance. The spot near the roundabout is great because it's after a speed bump on the highway. You can signal to the drivers on the highway, and those who exit the gas station. There is enough space for cars and truck to park for a few minutes.We got a ride from a truck driver to Foz do Iguaçu! 🚚

Ótimo lugar para sair de foz do iguaçu de carona, há um auto posto grande onde param vários cominhões, mas eu sempre fiquei a beira da estrada pedindo.―Anonymous

We try go to Pasadas from Puerto Iguza. First stop - oil station at the end of city, second - near from enter to Iguzu park. After we walk to direction Pasadas and sudenly us pick up couple from Paragvay. By the way, first and second place not bad, simple we wait not long time.―Anonymous

BRAZIL/ARGENTINA border: very easy to hitchhike here. We did it in both directions and didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes to get a ride to Puerto Iguazu or Foz do Iguacu.―Anonymous
