One male 40+, no sign, one big and one small backpacks, very sunny day. On my way from Subic Manila.Not the best place. Coz it's urban area. Also quite busy traffic. But I got dropped nearby so I didn't have much choice. On the good side, there is loads of room to stop. Good visibility. And a bit of shade from a pole.
I got supperb lucky. After 10 minutes a lorry stopped and took me all the way to Manila.

It's officially a highway already. You will pass a sign baning pedestrians. To make it worse there is a police booth 50 meters away. And it was manned. But I tried my luck. I'm not sure if the policeman didn't see me or didn't want to see me, be he didn't come to me. After 5 minutes a car stopped. He wanted to take me back to Olangapo bus station. In the end he agreed to take me to San Fernando. But during the ride it turned out that he was going only half way. I got passed off, coz he took me off the highway.

La benzinstacio ŝajnis tre promesplena, sed reale, kiam ni alvenis ĉe la elirejo, la estro alproksimiĝis al ni kaj malhelpis nin akiri veturon, insistante pri alvoko de la polica patrolo. Ili nur kondukis nin al alia vojo, iom pli antaŭen, kaj tio estis malfrue nokte. Eĉ antaŭ tio, homoj ĉe la benzinstacio proponis al ni veturojn al Malolos, kio estus multe pli bona se ni scius, kio atendis nin. Do, ĉe benzinstacioj sur la Aŭtovojo en Filipinoj, temas plejparte pri bonŝanco. Ni ne provis aliajn por ekscii.―Jurobola
