One male 40+, no sign, one big and one small backpacks, sunny day. On my way from Angeles to Cabanatuan.A good spot. Just enough place to pull over. Traffic not too busy. No shade.
I waited only 3 minutes. And got a ride almost to my destination.

One male 40+, no sign, one big and one small backpacks, sunny day. On my way from Angeles to Cabanatuan.A very good spot. Plenty of space to stop. Not very busy traffic. Cars going slowly, coz it's just after a junction. No shade.
I got a short ride, but very useful. A guy on a tricycle dropped me on the other end of Conception.
It turned out he was superb kind, coz he was riding the apposite way.

One male 40+, no sign, one big and one small backpacks, sunny day. On my way from Angeles to Cabanatuan. It's a good spot. Good visibility, enough room to stop. No too busy traffic despite being close to the town centre. No shade.
I got a ride after 5 minutes. A short one, but useful for me to an important junction.

One male 40+, no sign, one big and one small backpacks, sunny day. On my way from Angeles to Malasiqui. That was a weird spot. I've been hitchhiking two weeks in this country and it's been quite good. People understand the concept. Only once a guy stopped and asked me if I needed money.
But this spot was different. Not only because I had the longest wait. But also coz strange behaviour of people. Firs 3 cars stopped even though they were going 2-3 kms only. Two of them were handing me money (literally 🤑). They were very surprised that I didn't take them. And then one women stopped and was trying to stop a bus for me. It took me some time to explain her that I'm hitchhiking. It turn out she was going my way. When I asked her if I could go with her, she was shocked and said "No". And then left.
All my many experiences in this country were so different than this spot.
The spot is very good. No very busy. Loads of space to stop (I was picked eventually by a big lorry). And very importantly, in a shade of trees.
My experience is that the better spot the longer wait. Really 😂
After one hour a lorry took me almost all the way where I needed.

One male 40+, no sign, one big and one small backpacks, sunny day. On my way from Angeles to Malasiqui.A good spot. Enough space to stop. And, very importantly, some trees giving shade. After 10 minutes I got a ride to Tarlac.

One male 40+, no sign, one big and one small backpacks, sunny day. On my way from Angeles to Malasiqui. It was actually the first spot free of houses, vendors, shops etc. coming from Angeles center.
Decent enough. On a curve, but with quite some space to stop, and you will be visible from far. The traffic still busy, bus ok. Better than in the city itself.
After 15 minutes a motorbike stopped. He said he was going to Tarlac. Actually he was going only that direction. He dropped me in the middle of Capas. Which meant a long walk to find a new good spot. But then quickly I got a new ride.

One male 40+, no sign, one big and one small backpacks, sunny day. On my way to Angeles.Loads of space to stop. Busy traffic, but not supern bus. Just before entr to the expressway. So you can catch people going trough it or the highway. After 25 minutes I got a lift to Tarlac.
But 10 minutes before, one biker was trying to give me money for s bus. Not everyone understands the hitchhiking concept. But there is enough drivers to make it work.
