very specific situation bc i got here at 11PM, stayed the night and asked truckers in the morning. this area on the A20 is a little bit of a black hole, so this was the best option for long distance rides to PL. only a rest stop and a toilet so mainly truckers and some people stopping for a piss but a LOT of people going to poland compared to the big orlen a few km back. i got a ride from the third trucker i asked, 4 hours directly to poznan but most polish truckers don't take hitchhikers anymore. good luck if you're ever stranded here!―dandelions

I wouldn't recommend it. We used it to get to Warsaw and were really lucky but I don't think that you have a good chance getting a ride. Most drivers are only driving a really short distance. Our driver was on his way home after work (distance about 1km) but he was so kind to take us all the way to a big gas station at the highway in Gozdowo! He only went there for us so we can get to Warsaw.―Anonymous

We tried to get to Bydgoszcz or alternatively another place on the way, but we didn't have any luck. We tried both, without and with a sign, in both cases not even a single car stopped. There was one lady who stopped while we had a break, but she only drove a very short distance, not even to Gnozno.―Anonymous

Scary place for hitchhikers. It looks like gas station, but there is just parking lot. The gas station is on the other side. You can go there by tunel. The parking lot on our side was empty and cars hardlyever park there. We were lucky anyway. :D―Olafos
