laziest way to leave Barnaul. ask public transport to busstop \"Neftebaza\"(around 20+ routes, from train station bus #4, marshrutkas #120, 134, 205, 209 etc), from busstop \"Neftebaza\" walk couple blocks till the gas station on the right side. traffic is heavy and road is narrow.40 kmph speed limit. here is enough space to stop. most cars are local. try a least to the next position

Hard to get here but it's pretty good position right after the tool. Reach bus station \"Rechnoy vokzal\" then walk across the river till the tall.waiting time from minutes to hours

Got a lift here from Barnaul. After about 3 hours, when it got dark (I had a high-visibility vest) and still nobody was stopping, we stopped a bus passing by - slow and expensive. If you have money and get stranded, there's a hotel in the red building on the other side of the road. Apparently there's a gas station 800m to the north.―Jurekjerem
