Great spot, cars aren’t going too fast, there’s space to stop because that’s also the entry to some industrial place. Got offered a ride by motorcycles but didn’t have a helmet, got another one quickly to Banská Štiavnica―Arphile

Doesn't seem to have a lot of traffic going out of the city. Our driver had to go in Zvolen but dropped us all the way in Divin, 40km away.Might make more sense to find a placce a bit more on the outskirts of the city.

In theory, it was a great place – a hostel, a gas station, and a place to buy vignettes for TIRs (entry and exit from the same side), but we came across a little traffic. It was getting late, so after almost an hour, we decided we'd be done in 10 minutes and were going to sleep here at the hostel. We were about to head back when a couple from Poland on their way to Montenegro stopped by. We got to Zvolen SK with them.―marlena

Asked first person on the gas station and got a ride to Ružomberok.Hard to reach spot. You have to walk through the village, under the bridge to the other side of the road and than cross it to gas station. Medium traffic.

Probably the best place to get out of Banksa Štiavnica. It is on a steep hill so cars see you for a long time and speed is slow and there is bus stop, but cars could not see it from going uphill. The driver was going to Zvolen, so I asked to be left out at the gas station on highway next to Budča (I was trying to get to Bratislava so I just crossed the highway)―kiausiniuvagis

Got a lift to Zvolen. I would say a pretty nice spot. You can ask the drivers in gas station or just wait at the exit. There should be not only local traffic because it is also a exit from the town to highway―kiausiniuvagis
