good place. bus stop. with round about. to BA. might be plenty traffic depends on the time.

bus station is perfect. Levice wothin 25 minutes (tried several times), Banska Stiavnica is bad choice because through Zarnovica is better. Velky Krtis after the new bypass is worse (better to walk 25 minutes to bypass)

Best spot to hitchhike towards Banská Bystrica. Most of the cars are driving from Bratislava further to central Slovakia. Always takes max 15minutes to get a ride. This spot is about 30minutes of walking from center. It is possible to take a bus to nearby shopping center MAX but still you have to walk cca 10minutes.

I've hitchhiked here many times. Sign is needed. 50% of cars are just local, 30% is direction Zvolen (ZV sign) and only a few cars go towards Nitra and Bratislava during the week. On Sundays or weekdays mornings I would expect more traffic to Bratislava, but generally 30min - 2h wait time to Nitra
