Only one car stopped and it was going to Kosice which is totally opposite direction to where I was going (Poprad). Maybe it will work better in the morning

The service station was reasonably busy at 10am on a Thursday. I stood at the exit. Was trying to go to Warsaw from Kosice. Not sure if the highway route is better than taking the regional roads through Lublin but I decided to see. Quite quickly found a ride to Ruzomberok and onto the E77 into Poland.

Not a dangerous spot at all like thr comment below says. You have a good and safe plaxe to stand. Cars go a bit fast but pretty easy to thumb to at least Presov if not further.

One guy stopped to me at nearby traffic light before I even had started hitchhiking... I suppose that this place, few meters forward, is also very good.
