at the roundabout there is a good spot to get on the e45 in both directions, because cars almost can only get there from here (except some locals going right or left ;)). cars can stop on the big parking lot directly after the right exit of the roundabout.―Anonymous

zebra crossing for the highschool of trollhattan. many pedestrians there, so the cars have to stop all the time or they are at least very slow. bus stop after the zebra crossing is a perfect place to get in the stopping car. expect to get strange looks from the locals.. but it was very funny.―Anonymous

Easy to hitchhike to Göteborg. Of course you have to wait a while, but it is a spot in front of traffic lights, so when the red is on, cars go slower.―Anonymous

Not a great spot, but i had to go west to uddevala and the car i was in was going east to gotheborg. But it worked good enough, find a ride to uddevalla in 10 minutes.―Arthur

Decent spot to head north towards Karlstad. You can get here by bus, and there is an old bus stop with plenty of space for cars to stop. There is a light crossing so cars are sometimes going slower. Local told me the place was a little bit dangerous late in the evening.―Gaialove
