Spot for hitchhiking east towards Al-Raqqah, Lake Assad, Deir ez-Zur. To catch rides within seconds, best is to walk some 100m up the road away from the locals who take the minibusses.―Anonymous

Excellent spot for hitching into every direction of the country, especially towars Turkey and Lake Assad in the east. Easy to reach from the train station. Just hitchhike somewhere along the street.―Anonymous
