Afyon is in the crossroads of big cities. What's nice here is that the main road does not go through the city, so you don't have to walk a lot. There is a crossing and a bridge somewhere around here and many cars go to Ankara. There are also a lot of way stations in Afyon, so you can check the licence plates and ask the drivers personally.―Anonymous

It's a decent spot, cars can pull into the gas station or you can ask cars getting gas. Just used thumb, eventually had a family stop and take me to Ankara―SRidge
